Chamomile Extract

Chamomile Extract has soothing anti-inflammatory properties on skin and can be used in formulations for sensitive skin.

Chamomile in the form of an aqueous extract has been frequently used as a mild sedative to calm nerves and reduce anxiety, to treat hysteria, nightmares, insomnia and other sleep problems.

Chamomile is excellent for conditions such as dry skin, eczema, and psoriasis because of its ability to neutralize skin irritants and its anti-itch and anti-inflammatory properties.

For those with sensitive skin, chamomile is anti-irritating, non-comedogenic, and hypoallergenic.

Typical Usage Rate: 0.1 – 2%

Appearance: Brown transparent liquid with characteristic odor

Solubility: Soluble in water pH: 3.0-4.0
